Tourism Malaysia has taken a meaningful step forward in environmental conservation and sustainable tourism. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the agency organized a special event at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, bringing together 24 staff members from the Package Development Division to raise awareness about turtle conservation and support the survival of hatchlings.

At the heart of the program was the release of baby turtles into the ocean — a symbolic gesture of Tourism Malaysia’s dedication to preserving the country’s natural wonders. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, whose Turtle Showroom at the Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Centre plays a vital role in protecting endangered Green Turtle and Hawksbill Turtle species.

The event also included a beach clean‑up with the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson team, further demonstrating Tourism Malaysia’s commitment to safeguarding the environment and promoting responsible tourism practices.

Through these efforts, Tourism Malaysia continues to champion conservation and sustainability, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty of Malaysia’s marine life and coastal treasures.
