Asia Pacific Property Awards
The Asia Pacific Property Awards celebrates the highest level of achievements by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. The award is a world-renowned mark of excellence. Kuala Lumpur Metro Group attained the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Award 2018, under the category of Leisure Development. The award presentation ceremony was held at the Marriot Marquis Queen’s Park, Bangkok in May 2018.
World Travel Awards
Lexis Hotel Group brought home a whopping seven awards from the 2019 World Travel Awards held in Vietnam. Since then, three of the Group’s signature hotels and resorts were recognised for four consecutive years as crème de la crème at the annual World Travel Awards.

At the 2023 World Luxury Hotel Awards held in Athens, Greece, Lexis Hotel Group earned multiple award wins as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Lexis team as well as the unconditional support from every corner of the world. This marks the sixth time Lexis Hotel Group coming on top of other reputed hospitality brands worldwide.

ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Award
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson welcomed 2022 with a win in the ASEAN MICE VENUE Standard – Meeting Room (2022-2024) category at the prestigious ASEAN Tourism Awards held in Cambodia on 19 January 2022 during the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2022. The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia also presented the award to Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson at the National Level ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards Ceremony 2022-2024 at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur on 7 March 2022.
The Stella Award
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson was awarded four gold medals in the following categories: Best Décor/Design – International and US Territories, Best Hotel/Resort Event Space (On-Site) – International and US Territories, Best Hotel/Resort – International and US Territories, and Best On-Site Support Staff – International and US Territories.
Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson was the proud recipient of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award in 2017 and 2018, which recognised accommodations that score the highest for their value, service, amenities and overall experience for travellers worldwide.
Grand Lexis Port Dickson was also awarded the Travellers’ Choice Award consecutively in 2016 and 2017.
5 Star Hotel Certification By Ministry of Tourism Malaysia
Since 2019, Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson has been recognised and classified as a 5-star hotel resort by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. While Lexis Suites Penang was awarded the prestigious 5-star certification in 2017 and Grand Lexis Port Dickson received the 5-star certification in 2012.
Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards Malaysia Series
Lexis Hotel Group’s winning streak continues with six impressive wins at the prestigious Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA) Malaysia Series 2023-2024. Dato’ Professor Mandy Chew Siok Cheng, President of Lexis Hotel Group, received the coveted Elite Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Icon of Hospitality & Tourism category. Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson meanwhile, won the Best Service Excellence – Hospitality & Tourism award in the 5-Star Hotel category and the Best 30 Hotels & Resorts award in the Family & Recreational Resort category. Additionally, Lexis Suites Penang was recognized with the Best 30 Hotels & Resorts award in the All-Suite Hotel category. Both resorts were also honoured for their resilience.
Malaysia Tourism Council Gold Awards
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson was honoured at the Malaysia Tourism Council (MTC) Gold Awards 2017 in the Luxury Sea Villa Resort category. The objective of the annual Gold Awards is to drive and motivate the tourism and hospitality industry in Malaysia and to acknowledge high achievers who reflected a positive image of the country, both locally and regionally.
Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards
Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson created another milestone as it was named the winner of the Business Service Excellence category of the Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards in 2017, one of the most trusted and prestigious business awards programmes in Malaysia.
