Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards
In 2017 and 2018, the President of Lexis Hotel Group, Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew won the coveted Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) under the Outstanding Category in Hospitality and Tourism Industry for two years in a row. APEA is presented to a select handful of entrepreneurs across Asia Pacific each year, and is often compared to the Olympics for the stringent entry criteria and highly competitive judging parameters.
The Green Era Award for Sustainability
Kuala Lumpur Metro Group, owner of Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, was truly honoured to be conferred the highly prestigious “The Green Era Award for Sustainability” in the year 2016, all the way int the Eternal City – Rome, Italy. This award acknowledges their showpiece development, the glorious Lexis Hibiscus, which development incorporated green concepts of different initiatives, such as water efficiency, reduction of energy consumption, indoor and outdoor environmental quality and so forth. The Managing Director of Kuala Lumpur Metro Group – Dato’ Low Tak Fatt accepted the award himself during a resplendent gala award dinner held at the Rome Cavalieri Hotel in Italy on the 25th of July, 2016.
World Luxury Hotel Awards
At the 2023 World Luxury Hotel Awards held in Athens, Greece, Lexis Hotel Group earned multiple award wins as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Lexis team as well as the unconditional support from every corner of the world. This marks the sixth time Lexis Hotel Group coming on top of other reputed hospitality brands worldwide.

The Star Outstanding Business Awards
Lexis Hotels & Resorts received the honour of Best Brand – Silver Awards at The Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) 2020. Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew, President of Lexis Hotel Group came out at the top as the Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Par Excellence Achievement in 2020 and was awarded the Female Entrepreneur of
the Year – Special Mention in 2018. The aim of SOBA is to recognise local enterprises that soar beyond the usual boundaries and excel in areas that span across various business sectors.
Business Leader of the Year Awards
The Business Leader of the Year Awards, presented by Business Television India (BTVI) and held concurrently with the World HDR Congress, saw Lexis Hotel Group awarded Most Preferred Resort of the Year and Group President, Ms. Mandy Chew conferred the award for Most Admired Hospitality Leader of the Year.
CSR Malaysia Awards
Lexis Hotel Group is no stranger to giving back to the community, which led to the Company of the Year Award: Social Responsibility Excellence at the CSR Malaysia Awards 2019. Present to receive the prestigious award was President of Lexis Hotel Group, Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew from Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development of Malaysia, Hannah Yeoh.
The Brandlaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards
Lexis Hotel Group was announced the Most Established Brand in Hospitality – Premiere Resort category at The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards 2018-2019. On top of that, the Group’s President, Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew was also one of the top 10 industry leaders to receive the coveted Brand Champion Awards. In 2017, Lexis Hotel Group was awarded BestBrands in Hospitality – Hotels and Resorts under the Brand of Distinction category, while Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson was awarded BestBrands in Hospitality – Premium Resort under the Signature Brand Awards category.
Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards
Lexis Hotel Group was awarded Seven Stars Hospitality Group Asia in the 7th Anniversary Gala Ceremony of the 2019 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards (SSLHLA), which took place in Athens, Greece. Known as the “Oscars of luxury”, the awards recognize excellence among hospitality and lifestyle brands and services worldwide.
Pacific Area Travel Writers Association International Travel Awards
Lexis Hotel Group was named Best Luxury Hotel Chain (South East Asia) at the PATWA International Travel Awards in 2019. In addition, the Group’s President, Dato’ Prof. Mandy Chew was honoured as Best Professional in Hospitality.
